I agree that not half as many of her songs are about Kurt as many people (want to) think. At least, they weren't meant to be about him. I think when Courtney starts writing about something, it can be any topic, like in this case the list (see above), but as she keeps writing, her mind drifts (maybe subconsciously) away and she starts to generalize everything she's written so far; then suddenly, the song is about life (in general), and as Kurt was undoubtedly a big and important part of her life... . Well, I might be wrong (and I probably am), but that's what usually happens when I start writing a song (which does absolutely not mean that I equal myself with Courtney Love in any way!)... . |

Yaaa...well very funny... No, honestly, I think Kurt was murdered, but that doesn't belong here... I guess it's about his death, though that would really be a bit too obvious...oh well, whatever, nevermind. |

I also think that most parts of it really are about Kurt's death...I mean, he was a ,,boy on the radio" too once... . I think by saying ,,when the water is too deep" she wants to emphazise that when somebody (Kurt?)can't go on any more it doesn't have to be his fault. The things around him were just changing and eating him up, the water was escalating (? sorry I'm German), so he drowned... (the rest is quite obvious, I think) |

Um I haven't read all this, but I don't think it's got to have something to do with the music industry...I think it's about youth in general (as said somewhere above)...yeah, and those lines "he's drunk, he tastes like candy..." and so on could be about Kurt. I think they really loved each other...I don't know why, but I just really really think they had a very deep connection. I think that's why she was (and probably still is) so hurt when he died, and that's why she calls him "awful" or "asshole" and those things. She never really got over him dying so early. I think. |
