| Yeah the patient makes sense, and I think it's a bit more likely since that is the theme of the concept album from the mouth of Gerard, and I don't think him and Bert were ever *actually* going out, I saw a clip of Gerard talking about it. Long story short, Chemotherapy is right. | |

I really like the opinion given by h0plel3ssR0M4NTIK about it being a girl breaking guys hearts, and it also could be them poking fun at the genre, they've done that in other songs such as "Featuring Some Of Your Favourite Words", so i'm not sure. I'm not sure which member writes the songs, or at least this one, but their songs are very well written. Love this band, want to see them come to Australia so I can see them in person, :D Love this song too. P.S. The Ed Gein thing is interesting too, but I think it may be a cooincidence, lol. |

It sounds like he is very much in love with "Emily", and that they may be far apart, but he'd do anything to be with her. It's a fucking awesome song, by my favourite band. |
