God, this is the best song on the new album. My friend borrowed the CD since she doesn't have any for HIM and all I wanted to hear the whole time she had it was this song. And I agree with suburban, this is one of the best songs then. |

This song is good. I DO agree with PuNxUnItE000 about most of you fans though. I went through a GC phase because when I moved most of my CDs were packed and I was going through a little bit of with drawls. My friend, thank god she moved that bitch, got me into it.
You people just prove how much of boyband lovers you are by going around posting 'omg!!! Joel and Benji are sooo sexy!!' That shit gets old real fast. This is one of the few songs I can actually listen to without breaking into a rant about the hypocryte you people call Joel. |

She was in love, but it might not have been the right love. It was probably a masked love because Emily was a little desperate for the right person. Victor also had a not-so-right love for Emily. That was because he felt that he should be with Emily even though he does not truely love her. I still think that Victoria should've gone with big chin to teacher her parents a lesson about marrying her off just to get out of debt. |

This is a beautiful song. And you won't hear me say that very often. I felt sorta' ripped off when I went to see it....well, maybe not. The ticket was three bucks. But I didn't agree with the ending. Victor should've died and been with Emily, but I don't blame Emily for making the choice. It was all for the right reasons. |

Of course it's the Pumpkin King we all know and love. Elfman even told Burton to let him do the song. He wrote it, they couldn't find the right person for it, so he got the job. But Bongjangles sounds mare raspy in this movie than Jack was. But I believe that Elfman only did the singing for the Pumpkin King, I'm not sure though.
Anyway, for the reason this whole site was made. Read the lyrics! The meaning is plain as day light, it's the story about the 'Corpse Bride' also known as Emily. Gotta love the song either way though. GO BONEJANGLES!!! |
