I think "Sometimes I wonder why that meek guy got all the fame Maybe I'm to blame for his short, bitter, fucked-up life" is referring to one of his "dreams" that he didn't follow through with or pay attention to. He is responsible for the "short fucked up life" because he disregarded it instead of keeping track of his "silly dreams." |

i thought the last line in the song was - "Hey, you... get out of my bar" i'm probably wrong but i think that would make more sense becasue i picture some guy at a bar who is depressed and is drinking to cure his depression. |

Where it's cold but not that deep, cause your legs grow is implying that someone is scared to do something at first, but once they try it they realize that they could do it all along. I don't know if that was a good way to explain it but think of it as when you think about jumping in the water at a young age and you're scared but once you're in you realize that you're fine. |
