pavour nocturnus is by far their best release so far. this is definately my favourite song when they play live, the crowd reaction is amazing and the boys in the band are the nicest guys around. |

Agreed, but i think he also wants to escape this relationship, "I'm Out" in the chorus, but still being unable to achieve this. Its a very catchy first single of their debut album, pretty different to their ep work though. |

i love this song, so beautiful.
personally, i believe the song is about a personal stuggle, being one person inside, appearing differently to everyone else and being depressed as a result. i think a lot of people could identify with this. the person inside, is going to cause the demise of his other person, the happy side of himself who is "outshining everyone". |

i agree with mattisyourhero, this isnt their best song.
but i can understand why they released it, very catchy, its going to pull a different group of fans. good on the boys for expanding their base.

i dont know, i think its about a one night stand which is a mistake, unrequited love and such. She feels upset by what they have done and he comforts her by telling her that he is ok with whatever she wants to do; but he still loves her, "i'll take you home" but "tonight means nothing if we stay". Later he realises that his lesson is that he should love her from afar as she doesnt feel the same, "stand downwind and watch it burn"
as for the "careful kid" section, i think its him saying that if he stays, she will feel the same. |

awesome song!!! absolutely brilliant! in my opinion it is about a girl that he likes that is in a deep depression and is unable to see the positives. he is asking her to realise that he is there for her and will always be there. he hopes that he can understand what she is going through and help her to overcome this obstacle and "bring her back to life" |

i know...deserved so much better in hottest 100...we just need to vote more next year! i believe its about the superficiality of school and how "popularity" is so shallow. perhaps hurricane is some sort of metaphor for the fast paced ferocity of the popularity game? and "Hurricane knew you would" may refer to peer pressure and everyone trying to fit in with the trends. but yeah, thats just my opinion, i prefer to listen without analysing though, its much more fun. what an awesome band |

this song is about how we are screwing over the world (eg. war, violence in general) and if jesus were to judge us, exactly as the lyrics say, we're all damned to hell. the only ones safe are those who have taken a stand for what is righteven though they have gone unnoticed. its all about doing the right thing towards your fellow man and not blaming all the worlds problems on God |
