Its not that they "wern't supposed to" its that Ryan wrote the lyrics, and Brendon had gone to the catholic school. Therefor as in singing them, he puts his hand over his mouth.

Also I think it has something to do with the video being in a church...you know? I dont really feel like explaining right now, Minority is playing on the radio.

Uh to PunKinDrubliC, I dissagree.
She can get married when ever the fuck she wants.
She doesnt need your opinion at all. All you need in a marrige is love, *ironic to this video, I know* and so shut up. :D
Plus in third world countries, children as young as FIVE can be forced into marrige.
Shut up.
:D

The reason he did that over his mouth when he said "god damn" was for two reasons.
When they air it on television, you cant use the word "God" on MTV, and second reason, the guys went to a catholic school, and its not good to use the lords name in vain.

Yep :D

After the groom's anger subsides, he regains his "poise and rationality" and thats when Brendon pulls him outside. *Brendon is not actually there, it is all through the groom*
The whole "pour the champane" thing has to do with, he already knows that his bride-to-be is a whore, and they dont have to go through a whole marrige and then him finding out and then divorce thing, and so its like, our marrige is saved.

Alright.
This is the groom's story. He is nervous about getting married so he is pacing the pews....and he happens to hear something in between the waiter and the bridesmaid. The bridesmaid is all chipper and is saying what a beautiful wedding it is, but the waiter wants to but his two cents in and so he tells her that , yes, it is a beautiful wedding, but did you hear that the bride is a whore?
The brides guest's side is all filled up, and the grooms is not. The brides guests have a "mask" over they're face, and they dont "see" that the bride is a whore, but then their eyes open (hence the one guys eyes opening) and they know.
The bride leaves the chapel, and the groom is heart broken. But then he sees a man go after the bride and he is like, "What???" so Brendon pulls the groom out and he finds them kissing.
*note how groom has light blue eyes, and Brendons are brown*
You KNOW its from the grooms point of view because at the end, Brendon and the groom bow together, and when they get up, Brendon who was in the top hat is no longer in it, the groom is now wearing the top hat, and you can tell because of the eyes.

Sorry it was so long but I just wanted you to know.
