we actually had to learn this song in class and our teacher is a huge fan of this band, so he bought this dvd of music vid&extras from rage against the machine..and in it you coulod tell that Ghostly is pretty much right. we also had to study about the mexican revolution and etc. subcomandante was talking about media, i forgot . but yeap theyre for the poorer/unadvantaged people of mexico and it also has to do with NAFTA and them taking land away from people in mexico for buisness buildings and crap. and nafta (u.s free trade) is ripping of mexico. so thats one of the thing subcomandante marcos is pissed off. if you've seen the vid where he talks, he's really very very inteligent |

its not about mental illness not about abuse or w/e pindakaas40 is right in the music vid of this, they (director&otherpeople.not the band) acutally went to northern ireland (it was in 1996, in belfast) and shot some clips of it for the music vid. they told the soldiers there that they were doing a documentary..which they weren't. while the band sang the song for the music vid in dublin&los anglelas. so it is about the northern ireland hopefully this made sense |
