Jamie is notorious for his wide appreciation of music, which is reflected in this song. For me, it's sort of a Ben Folds-esque kickback to the days of the old mixtapes, when you had to put a lot more thought and effort into making a mix for a girl. 'It details everything that's running round my head' is all too familiar, especially when you're having crazy thoughts and don't have a way to express them to someone, so you make them a mix that covers the bases. |
