I don't really like Simple Plan much anymore, but this is the only song that really means something to me. Before my dad died, I never really payed much attention to it. I always thought it was about a girlfriend or whatever who left him. Well, a few days after my dad died, I was putting together some music and I was listening to my own and I listened to this song. After the first three lines, I paused it and I said to my brother, "This is perfect. I hope it keeps going right." And it did. It was the perfect song for what I was going to. Then a couple of days later, I played it for everyone during dinner, and for the first time, I cried to it. "No matter where life takes me to, I'll meet you there." |
