| And One – Spontanverkehr Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| indeed some parts might sound funny. but i guess it's hinting at spontanious sex without any contraception (i'm sorry if this is not the right term) and the risk of an h.i.v infection. | |

i can't figure it out... is it that he's imagining s**c*de at night but not actually doing it? "freiflug" seems to be refering to "freitod" (ger. synonym for s**c*de). so i'm not too sure about the meaning of the song, but it's very beautiful |

i thought about that again and i guess the poem by goethe can be understood in both ways: the rational one in which the child dies by fever. or the rather mystic one in which there's some supernatural being killing the child. i think it's also possible in the original poem that the child dies by his father pressing it too tight because he's in some way scared about the child's words and worried of course. that again would make it possible to include some supernatural being as well that causes the man to press his child to death. in rammstein's song for the reason that doesn't want human beings to reach heaven by themselves. *confused* |

i agree that it's refering to der erlkönig, but i still dont get it. -- the wikipedia entry about der erlkönig says the poem is about "the death of a child assailed by a supernatural being". so that would quite fit to the rammstein song, but makes the actual poem quite pointless, doesn't it. just telling about the death of a young boy caused by some supernatural being would not be typical for Goethe. i always thought the child was ill and the erl king was imaginary due to his feverish dreams - what in the end killed the child was just the fever. but that doesn't make any sense in the song, does it. am i awfully wrong? anybody explain it to me please ^^ |

| Rammstein – Keine Lust Lyrics | 20 years ago |

i think the song is about the lack of motivation that grew a lot in the whole world. the chances to get what you want are that small that most people don't even try. instead of doing something they are surrendering to their suffering. "mir ist kalt" (kalt is german for cold) - cold is always something bad in rammstein lyrics and often describes things like depression etc. the "problems in the bedroom department" that are described in the song are meant symbolic |
