The first time i heard this song...i was at a concert in my home town...6 15/16 old friends had died in a hit run crash just weeks before and the band played it acousticand dedicated this song to them..the once roudy mosh pit became placid and we all took one another into embraces of memoriam.it was one of the most beautiful moment i have experienced...

when i first heard this song i figured it was a father writing it for his son, the first impression i got though was that he was the deceased father sendin it down to his son...but now it seems like a muzo on the road writing it for his partner and son back home. i love his voice so much and hwo powerful the song is!! |
