| I like this song alot. I don't know why. The lyrics are pretty odd, different... old kind of blues-ish. But I really like the way Plant sings the song. For a while I couldn't make out too much of what he was saying but it reminded me of a dark old and out dated place... someone just singing in front of a crowd... nothing like new music, but that's why I liked it. | |

I love this song. Like "matty67" I thought this song was about a girl as well. When I found out it was about a dog and I understood what the song was meaning moreso. It's kind of an anthem to a simple uncomplicated love, like a born love. A dog is just bound to always stick around and love you without any complications, mans best friend. Its just about a love that he cherishes and he's happy he has. |

I love this song alot. It's so simple and catchy. I think it's self explanitory obviously. To me, from my standpoint, I think of time when I here this song, and how it changes ... quickly usually. Woo for the beatles. :) |

I'm surprised so many people don't like this song. I think people always want a song to be something direct, and for the meaning to be just there and for you to figure it out, straight from the writing. Well I have learned to interpret songs in my own way, and take there meaning from my standpoint, meaning that many songs mean whatever you want them to mean to you. To me there isn't much to this song... speaking directly from the song. If you read the lyrics over and over again you won't get an "answer" just like many songs. I love this song though because it gives off a vibe or ... kind of an outlet of a perfect happy place. Wether or not the beatles were refering to a perfect place, it seems like it and thats the vibe I get from it. Now, whether they're happy place was created from being on drugs... or it was just them dreaming about random crap... it gives off a happy simple vibe. I think people should see it for what it is. My yellow submarine is music .. :D |
