i think it's about going 'home' to someone the singer loved. and that the voices and their thoughts of what could of been; "Now I wish they'd leave me alone And let me be To grow up on my own" the stuff about floating in the air and imagination is probably about how they are usually carefree and happy but lately they are sad and uninterested in anything other then being with their lover. it's a beautiful song. |
