This reminds me of my bf of 4 years. He hurt me over and over but i couldnt bring myself to finish it, i was weak like it says in the song. A few months ago, with the help of a very good friend, i found the strength to leave him, but its been hard and i still feel weak at times, i still miss him once in a while. But this songs reminds me that i am better by myself and have some amazing people around me right now keeping me happy. I reckon its about this guys relationship that has just fallen apart. "In our short years we come long way To treat it bad, just to throw it away" Seems to me they kinda grew up together and learnt together but they didn't look after their relationship properly and it fell apart. They 'threw it away'. "I want you to be free Don't worry about me" I guess it's like they still care bout each other but it's better for them both if they're not together anymore. obviously incubus are a bunch of gods. stellar is amazing and is my song with my best friend Amy - love you always angel. But this song is very important to me. When i was 15 i got into a relationship. As we were young we obviously couldnt wake up next to each other in the morning but as we got older we were able to. This reminds me of when i got to wake up next to the most beautiful boy i have ever known. Four years later and now it had ended. Really for the best, we're both grown up now and different people.
