This song has a deep meaning of loss and rebirth. I think hes reffering to the tragic story of persephone, how she ended up bound to the underworld part of her life. Ii seems like hes sad becasue she gone away, whomever she is; likely an ex, and he wants spring to come to maybe bring her back, so he sits waiting, in the role of Demeter.
I always liked third eye blind, but the last year ive really started delving into their lyrics and i have to say they are awesome. |
