At least the debate about who's playing what has finally ended, wich is good... I'm just wondering, Dave must have meant something like with a metaphor with this entire song, and I can't stop thinking that that he is maybe a reference to Cobain. Especially the "He's scared" sounds a bit like Kurt when Heart-Shaped Boxes was recorded. |

I think this song runs a lot deeper than the lack of love. For my the song is about that people try to find people that can match them, you know, that you don't try to get someone outta your league. And that Billy or the character in the song, is stuck with someone that he isn't really attracted to but can't get any better. And in this song he's in denial but also trying to convince himself to love her. Because THAT would solve evrything. |

Correct me if I'm wrong but on the hidden track I think MM says that Space = Hollywood and Spaceman = celebrity, so when he says in space the stars are no nearer, u gotta see stars as celebrities here. Well thats all I still gotta add, nice explainations tough, keep up the gd work, guys! |

Just read all this load of sjit and gotta say one thing, if u come to insult other people's music culture on a "song meaning" site, man GET A LIFE, anyway, I just tought of something, isn't it possible that MA is just the story of Oméga? when he first arrives in Holywood (wich is always described as space in album) and then the second part is when he's no longer a drug addict, so coma white wants to kill herself because she's still one and he moved on to the perfect world... i hope u understand what im tryin to say |
