To me this song is about old love. The 'static silhouette' that might be 'underage' could be the persons first love,- someone who it seems impossible to forget about. 'Always and forevermore We're together dead and lonely' - because in the memories eveything that was between them stays the same. They're "dead" for each other, meaning: no part of each others lives anymore. (except from in the memories..) |

| To me this song is about 2 friends which are on different stages in life. they've lost contact, and the (famous) "sucsesfull one" of them is feeling down and anxious and he could really need a good friend, and the old friend says he'll be there to listen and talk. They don't need to talk about how succsesfull he is etc. they can talk about something as simple as streetlights. I think the streetlights symbolize something, im not sure what though.. maybe the old times which will light up and make him feel better when the darkness sorounds him. Basically the friend is telling him, everything is going to be better soon. | |
