Best thing Weezer have ever done. I've listened to Blue countless times, I've listened to Pinkerton countless more times. But this single song in 2008 just blows everything else they've ever done. Its so beautiful. And I agree with Midwesta65, I feel like this is Rivers' finally finding peace with himself, and knowing exactly where he is. I wouldn't be mad if they ended their career with this song, its that powerful. Red album may not be *that* good, but this makes up for it. Fantastic song. |

This is my fav.Song on the album by far. I like Matt's bit. I think its nessicary because there is 27 songs on the album so you have to make them feel diffrent some how. It's such a good song to sing when you have just been let down by a girl or whatever. It's good. |

The first song that really struck me from the album -not surprising as it's the first one xD- I like the clean vocal break later on. I think that really works. The drumming is really soild for some reason. And we have some background vocals going on which is always good. And song meaning? Well seeing as it's the first song on the new album and the lyric is : " Do you remember me?" It's not hard to work out (good job on lyrics btw) |

"the people who think this song is just about being peaceful should look deep down and think about what he is really trying to say..." I think your reading too much into this song. The song is based on the idea of the most relaxing idea he could think of. All incubus's songs are based on simple ideas (Nice to know = Pins and needles for example). The journey of life idea is a nice one though. |

When I saw them on their Current tour (End of 2007) they played this song but a kind of stripped down acoustic version. Not major full on acoustic 1 man thing. But they took out a look of the heavier bits. I was a bit disappointed but in the end it did sound alright. As for the meaning it is a tad political imo. About not fitting into the system and breaking free: " So modify this third rock from the sun, by painting myriads of pictures with the colors of one. I'm sick of painting in black and white my pen is dry, now I'm uptight. So sick of limiting myself to fit your definition." Is what you should take away from this song. x |

Yeah this song live is awesome. Aboustly a blast. And the way they end the show is perfect. With the frogs as you walk out. And how they bow one by one. The DJ got the biggest cheer at ours. This song is all about apprenticing life and respecting every asbect as you go along. |
