This is a good song too! I especially like "Its time to stand up, its time to fight back." I just love it. It's like, dont get pushed around and stand up for what you believe in :) Closet Monster arn't really well known or anything, but they've got good music. |

Can anyone explain what this song is really about? I havn't really given alot of thought to it but whenever I try to figure it out I get a little confused. So far I just think that when he sings "And this flood, this flood is slowly rising up, swallowing the ground Beneath, my feet. Tell me how anybody thinks under this condition. So I'll swim, I'll swim as the water rises up --" That the dark blue or the flood, is like misery or when you become overcome with sadness or when everything goes wrong and how people sometimes just give up and let it consume them. That they might be making wrong decisions because they can't think straight. And that, even as things try to bring him down, he'll try to make things right and now let that bring him down. It's such a pretty song, but I don't think I fully understand it. |
