It's kind of funny tha most of people immediately assume Bellamy is talking about Bush when Muse is British. This song, and the album as a whole focus on the much bigger picture about the state of the world. I really wish they'd come back to the states soon though. |

| Greg has come out and said that this song is also a bashing on one of his college professors for thinking too deeply on a writing assignment. I think the decorated warriors are the teachers drilling kids to learn exactly what they want not to think deeper than their told. As a high school student right now i see this very thing happening to kids as they only meet expectations and never reach for their maximum potential. | |
