Pm Dawn – I'd Die Without You Lyrics 19 years ago
I think this song portrays a very common incident in love: why do we love those who do not love us and not love those who love us dearly? Why do we haeve to suffer loving someone and only when we give up, or when another door of happiness opens and end our miserable state of heart, the old love who hardly felt our existence wakes up in tears and asks us back?
A couple of years ago, my boyfriend got me the CD of PM Dawn and we switched off the room's lights and lied beside each other and he said before playing the song, this is my song to you. I never understood why he said that. I think it was his way of telling me he is finally giving in.. Anyways, I think then was not the right time for the dedication since I was madly deeply crazily devoted to him. Now is the time and yes, seems like it is HIS turn not mine anymore.

Paul Anka – (You're) Having My Baby Lyrics 19 years ago
I can not think of any song that is more touching than this one. It just shows how profoundly this man understood his woman and what it means for a woman to consciously choose to have a baby with a man. We can fall in love but not feel safe and not see our love as the father of our children. It is only when a woman carries the man's child that she is telling the whole world she is completely devotetdly madly in love with him.

ABBA – One Of Us Lyrics 19 years ago
This song brought tears to my eyes when I first heard it.. I guess you had to have been in the situation to fully grasp the meaning of what the Abba were trying to say..This song is about a couple who were so much in love but suddenly, one of them felt, it is still too early for a serious commitment..s/he wanted to explore life more, see more people, and expeience what they did not yet.So this person had to call things off, thinking it was for the best of the couple (realistically for her own selfish best). And they break up. Time passes and she starts getting what this whole life is about and she knows how stupid she was to let go of her true love. She regrets what she did, she cries, she spends the nights lonely wishing for a miracle to happen and nothing happens of course. Even if he knew, it is too late usually. Not because his feelings would have changed (could be the case), but because time changes people and no matter how connected they arein the heart, one's outlook to life, experiences and everyday happenings just make us new evolving people every day. It's like the poem of Robert Frost, "The Road Not Taken".
