| To me, this song speaks of the struggle an otherkin individual goes through in this world...something few I imagine would understand, but something that hits home very hard. I honestly would not be surprised if this were the literal intent either, given the sort of crowds I run in, and that Ronan Harris runs in. Mystics and freaks gather together out on the fringe ;) | |

I think the lines Put on my raving shoes and I boarded a plane Touched down in a land where the skies were blue In the middle of the pouring rain Everybody was happy Energy shining down on me are basically a thinly veiled metaphor for doing ecstasy at a rave (the line about the skies being blue in the pouring rain is part of it, so is the everyone happy bit) -- it really makes everything feel perfect, almost no matter what. the boarded a plane bit is probably eating the pill the bit about a first class ticket probably is meaning he got good stuff, and well yeah...he feels as good as possible. |

| I have to agree with fireinthedawn, it's about a third side, as just about all of VNV's music about spirituality is. The side that embraces the reality of Free Will. The side that realizes that three things are sacred; Truth, Love, and Self. | |
