The Casualties – For The Punx Lyrics 18 years ago
I agree with everyone who is saying that the Casualties usually don't say anything, they're just a fun band who aren't exactly the best song writers. I just wanted to point out to the people asking what is wrong with wearing a leather jacket that it's made out of a cow. That's the problem.

AFI – Totalimmortal Lyrics 20 years ago
also, Anti-Flag aren't on A-F Records (which they started) so why should Offspring be on Nitro?

AFI – Cereal Wars Lyrics 20 years ago
"I seriously can't see a downside to any of their music, although they have improved greatly over the years as is to be expected with any band!"

Well Puppet, the downside is that a lot of the new songs are about Jesus.

GWAR – Saddam a Go-Go Lyrics 20 years ago
I thought they only play Vlad the Impaler on Empire Records. In the brownie scene where Mark plays with them, that song is definitely Vlad the Impaler. Is there another part where they play Saddam a Go-go?

Blink-182 – 21 Days Lyrics 20 years ago
First of all, in no way is Blink-182 an emo band, you loser. But seriously, Buddha is one of their best albums. I'd have to say Dude Ranch is my favorite, and Enema Strikes Back is probably one of the greatest live albums ever recorded. I agree with less182jake on what this song is about. P.S. Blink-182's selftitled album sucks, Angels and Airwaves sucks, and Tom Delonge is a complete tool.

AFI – The Leaving Song Pt. 2 Lyrics 20 years ago
ok has anyone else noticed AFI's transformation into a Jesus band? i know that when they started out they were just another punk band, and infact one of my favorite punk bands. Obviously, songs like "Key Lime Pie" and "High School Football Hero" are in no way about God. They were also on the Satan is Love compilation record. BUT "Silver and Cold," "The New Patron Saints and Angels," and "The Lost Souls" obviously have some reference to religion in them. Now don't get me wrong, I love ATSF, SYMOYE, and Very Proud of Ya. I love the songs off the All Hallows EP, and I enjoy their cover of "Head Like a Hole." But it seems that from Black Sails on, Davey had this fascination with writing about God. And it really pisses me off. He is an amazing lyricist, but I can't stand seeing a great band go down like this! They kind of redeemed themselves with Sing the Sorrow, with songs more about failed relationships, but still that overlying religion factor. Then again, atleast they aren't Creed. But what do you guys think?
