I Think this song is religious too.. but not really about "god".. For a couple reasons.. You have to, you just have to trust me -I think this line is playing off how some people are basically raised christian and to believe in the bible, but when they ask questions parents kind of gave them answers like "Trust it, its the bible, its god.." and whatnot. Whoever I was then, I can't ever be again -I think thats saying however he used to believe in what he did, he can't anymore.. The faith you found I never felt (never felt) ... -This is the one that kind of led me to my conclusion cause he actually says faith.. and how he hasn't felt it combined with.. "And comfort in there's no one else The truth be told I'm never gonna know" -how he is never going to really know until he's dead. |
