I think this song has 2 possible meanings. first off i agree with the idea of the breakdown of arts by media today. theres defiantely a point to be made there, music today is so cookie cutter. as in think about how much stuff just sounds the same. nobody takes chances anymore, they find something that works and market it like hell, than other labels try to find there own version of the sound and market the hell out of that. its a bad cycle that dumbs down creativity and punishes artist for being different. thus the lyric paint over pictures on the wall, do you know what picasso, van go (or however u spell it) , and rembrant have in common? Jack, thats what but they're all great but if you apply this market strategy to those painter you LOOSE SOME OF THE BEST WORK EVER DONE! Anyways back to the other point. i think the song just retells the story if romoe and juliet. id like to give much credit to the people who mentioned capulet being juliets name and the english CHAP who said mr. jones is the "perfect man" Where did she go I do not know, And which direction was it snowing?
