| Tool – No Quarter (Led Zeppelin cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| there are no words to describe what this song means to me. it perfectly sums up my idea of a perfect song, actually brings tears to my eyes and makes me feel so many different emotions at once, the ending is just way to godlike. thank you THANK YOU TOOL | |

| Metallica – The Call of Ktulu Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
i would go into great depths about this song...but i really dont have the time or energy so i will sum it up as quickly as i can... EPIC EPIC EPIC Yes ktulu can be "repetitive". but thats wer you people just dont get ktulus beauty!. the riff may stay somewhat the same...but it builds and builds and adds new little features that a casual listener may not pick up on. orion to me is a "better" instrumental...and i use the term better very loosely orion is quite simply perfection in a song, every second beautifully orchestrated and structured into 8:28 seconds. it is my favorite metallica song. even my favourite song fullstop!. but i think ktulu has more of just epic and haunting unspoken vibe that transports the listener to this horrendous and dark realm. ktulu has more of a dark and epic vibe...its one of those songs you can tune out to and think about things...but at the same time be fully aware to every single sound coming out of the instruments. orion is different in as much as it overwhelms the listener with so many different emotions and makes the listener stand up and say "woah". ktulu is a hell of alot more subtle i want to explain more but i have to run, il conclude by saying that the ending is simply the most perfect summary of the word epic. the last two minutes...snap the listener back and just blow them away by the sound and just terrific power of the song. my favourite riff of all time comes in with thundering drums at 8:30...so well placed and not overdone it just brings a tear to my eye every time |

| Metallica – Fight Fire With Fire Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
"But, what's the end all about (the bit that sounds like wind right at the end)? Nuclear Winter?" i think thats just it crossing over into ride the lightning, and trying to sound like fires burning...which when u listen to the next track, the bass compliments this tone really well |

| fucking insane solo | |
| Metallica – (Anesthesia) Pulling Teeth Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Blindrider...im so torn with what you just said. i mean tool and metallica are equally and easily my two favourite bands of all time, and Chancellor is one of my idols on a bass guitar, but i still think cliff is better than him...and he also happens to be my favourite basisst | |
| Trivium – Ignition Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
i actually quite like the song, the intro is wayyy to much like metallicas dyers eve IMO. but im the opposite in opinion with forever haunted...the words do not match the music and the mid section Ignition Inception Burning is a fuse to destruction Break the walls of ignorance To disarm the world for it's last chance i think thats just lame and brings the song down a bit. but yeah the meaning of this song is pretty straight forward... |

| Neil Young – My My, Hey Hey (Out Of The Blue) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
no no no...your all wrong about the "into the blue, into the black" quote...to me it means to go from being depressed...or in elvis case hooked on pills to keep him happy...which is being blue or sad...and then going into the black which is pretty self explanitory as death. still an awesome line ^_^ |

| Nirvana – Territorial Pissings Lyrics | 19 years ago |

| Metallica – Fight Fire With Fire Lyrics | 19 years ago |

| Led Zeppelin – Moby Dick Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
i agree with gabriela. drummers are brutally underated, even more so are the bassists. (i being a bassist) lol. bonham is my favourite drummer, zep make so much blissfull noise and without bonham as there premier percussionist, alot of there songs would not be as famous as they are today. Take "rock and roll" that drumbeat is the heart of the song. pages riffs are always top notch, but bonham brings that extra life to all of led zeps music. all members of led zep are extremely talented...if ever u wer to put together a technically genius band together from the 60-70's eras...look no futher than led zep. moby dick is no exception. makes me listen in awe everytime |

| A Perfect Circle – 3 Libras Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Now...i could be horribly wrong...but i heard from a good friend of mine that 3 libras relates to maynard's youth. as in his friends during that time used him and exploited him for whatever means, and "3 libras" represent these three "friends" of his. anyway thats just what i was told. would love to hear feedback on my P.O.V. this song is definatly one of the best APC songs, if not best songs ive ever heard | |
