Wow. All I can say is W-O-W. What an amazing song. Amazing lyrics. To me its about someone whos relationship is quite unpredictable. He is getting hurt by this girl, and goes through lengths to get her love back because he feels her turning cold. He keeps his feelings locked inside, and fakes a smile. This song is easy to interprate or however the helll you spell it haha. I love it. Let me state the obvious, like many others above stated. There are two people deeply in love, but they are many miles away from eachother. They yearn to be back together again, and are devistated and lonely. Memories often haunt them. This song is such a emotionfilled song. I love it to mars and back. In my opinion its about how he let go of a girl he loved, and she is hurt and doesn't care about him anymore. Then only to realize he misses her and that he would do anything to make things back to how they were. "Oh lets go back to the start" obviously points that out. Also, to me, he seems to be questioning why the hell he let her go, as she is perfect... "you don't know how lovely you are."
