Sheesh cristians strike again, I suppose you have take a break on the net between shifts of spreading single minded fundamentalism. Anyway, as with most songs the meaning of this song is most likely simply what it means to you as a person. Or you could ask Chris, but he'd probably just smile and slowly back away from you. |

Supah dude you really set a bad example for followers of your faith. I can't even begin to understand the arrogance required to believe that all questions are answerable by a religion (or a guy that calls himself a priest, or human who wrote a satire called the bible a while back, whatever you call it). Face it, humanity knows jack all in the grand scope of things. Of course if you need religion because you can't face up to that, then it's your choice. As for the meaning I don't think it has much to do with religion at all, just the use of a martyr image by a person or group. |

Supah Dude, stop being ignorant. Not one person said chris did not believe in god, and even if they did learn to live with it. Believing in god has nothing to do with christianity or any other religion, get over yourself. Back on topic, I think this song is to do with his hate of how organized relgions tend to brainwash and mentally imprison their followers, and how he wants to be free of it to live his own life. |

Well I was going to type something but grungehead prettty much read my mind, i couldnt agree more with him. An all loving god that lets suffering exist, an all loving god that lets people suffer for eternity in "hell", for in comparison a blink of an eyelid's worth of wrongdoing in life. If there is a such a thing as a god it looks like people got him all wrong. All organized religion , in my opion is just a tool to control the masses, do good, and you go to heaven, do wrong.... you know the rest im sure. But religion being responsible for war, torture and murder, thats a fact. (And beefwellington, , didn't you just make a fool of yourself with that comment, i suppose you read anthony's mind while you were seething at his viewpoint opposed to yours.) |

Yeah i hear "with debauchery" as well. My take on the song is a feeling of really wanting to be with someone and not wanting the feeling to go away. "I love this weather It's a perfect storm Just keep it coming In its perfect form I love this weather 'Cause it keeps me warm Just keep it coming In its perfect form" Sounds like he is happy in this state and doesnt want it to change. |
