Yet another Rent connection. It makes me think of Roger and Mimi and how Mimi uses Roger for sex, food, shelter, and maybe stealing some of his cash to get drugs, and finally he says, "ENOUGH." Yeah. Must. Stop. Making. Rent. Connections. |

Another 'God bless you Anthony' for writing this song. I mean, honestly, you've got out gay singers everywhere singing with the wrong pronouns because Hollywood gets pissed if you don't. Since Anthony isn't under all that Hollywood shit, he can sing whatever he wants. You GO man. |

Again with the Rent relations, John might be named for Jonathan Larson. (I swear, I'll stop making these connections...) Anyhow, I agree with Sarah above me that Anthony is saying how crazy life can be. And it's a little like he's saying that he puts a facade on for the rest of the word, and that underneath the mask, he's just like John: Crazy, jumping from one thing to the next, ect. |

Call me absolutely crazy, but this is like loving someone with disiese. (Nope, can't stop relating these songs to Rent.) Especially the chorus, almost apologizing for the fact that the singer will be around a lot longer than whoever he's singing about. I can't sing it without starting to cry, it's so moving to me. |

This song is an out there, down right fabulous gay anthem, no way around it. God bless you Anthony Rapp for writing it. It's a wicked inspiring song, ESPECIALLY for those in the closet. |
