you know, a lot of songs mean whatever they mean to another person, if that happens to be a "fundamentalist chirstian" and they that the song means something to them they can believe that. Why would you have to rip them up about it? also considering Dustin is a christian and he writes the songs. so its not that far fetched to think that it might be what he writes about |

well, i remember someone telling me that 24 was the number of compleation and there was some link between the 12 tribe of israel and the 12 apostles. also when it's talking about "i am the second man now" i think it's saying that he's no longer the most important thing in his life, that God has to be first in his life |

I understand that sometimes the people that act very "religious" and only do traditions and don't focus on jesus can be annoying but they are still christians. And awdrq WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT if you know anything about christianity you would know that they are against homosexualiy and so why would they make a song about their troubles. This song is about a man (I heared that Christian wrote it about his own past) who lives in spiratual darkness and is doing things that are not pleasing to God and he knows what the light is but he is afraid of it posibly because he doesn't want anyone to know what he has done or he doesn't even want to admit to themselves what they have done. |

I think this song really is self explanitory, it's about someone who has had a really hard life and feels that nobody loves him and he just wants to die and when he trys to kill himself he rejrets it and trys to call for help. Maybe that's what happened to Josh (the lead singer) before he became a christian. All I really know about him is that he used to be part of a band called Full Devil Jacket and when he had a drug overdose and almost died he became a chistian. |

This song is directly out of the bible. It talksw about the fall of Babylon which is talked about in Revelations 18. BAsicly they took the words out of that chapter and started to sing them and they got this song. Part of it says: 1After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven. He had great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor. 2With a mighty voice he shouted:
"Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!
She has become a home for demons
and a haunt for every evil[a] spirit,
a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird.

The Woman refers to what they call Babylon. And some people believe that Babylon either means the actual Babylon or Rome. The bible says that the roman empire will be revived and it has already started. But now it's called the European Union. It has almost the exact same amount of land that The Roman Empie had at the peak of it's power. Some people say that it's the European Union that will be destroyed. Also the beast means two things. The seven heads mean seven years that will take place and the 10 horns represent the 10 areas that the world will be divided into at some point. |

think that it's possible that the song was written after he told his mother he was bisexuel but he died in 1991 and the song was written in 1975 so it's impossible that it was made just before he died. in fact the song couldn't of had anything to do about his death because he died of aids and it wasn't even discovered until 1981 so he wouldn't of had any idea about what killed him.
it's think that the song wasn't ment to have a literal meaning. i think that it was freddie trying to talk about something very personal to himself or mabey a friend who would understand it. or mabey he just wanted to write something and see how many people would try to figure it out. also everyone knows that they were on a lot of drugs so mabey he had no clue what he was doing. |

I think this song might have a deeper religious meening.i think that its talking about spiritual warfare and how there are christians there and the other army is either demons or those who are not christians and they want to save them. |
