This song is so haunting. A complete stripdown and recreation of Jagger/Richards angst-ridden masterpiece. It says alot about both Cat Power and the Rolling Stones. This is why I love her Covers Record. She is actually creating something completely new, beautiful. |

'Anna's ghost all around'? Does it get more explicit than that? I think it's an amazing song, from an amazing album. It means so much. Jeff Magnum seems to use his seeming obsession with Anne Frank as a springboard for all these other beautiful thoughts about life and love. |
