I think this song is about the time that Pete Doherty married the American millionairess Forever McGee. As is the practise, Forever McGee was adamant that before any marriage took place a pre-nuptual agreement would have to be signed. Of course Pete, who had one eye on the prize, was already plotting on how to get half the estate of his new wife. The only way he could think of is to get her to commit adultry. He his pleading with his friends to try and land Forever McGee - hence the song "Fuck Forever". Although I could be confusing this song with an episode of "The Young and The Restless"... |

Could this song really be a tribute to t he one and only mystic meg? After all, she was good at predicting stuff. She may not have specifically predicted a riot but that's not the kind of news you want to be hearing whilst you're waiting for lottery numbers.
