I really like this song, but there's one line here that erks me. In the second verse, he says "but you're talkin to me, sayin I wish that I had died." Wouldn't it make more sense if the singer had said something like "Sayin 'I wish that you had died' " (like he was quoting the mother) or "Sayin you wish that I had died" I don't know, I guess it's just a slip of grammar? Unless the mother actually wanted to die herself, it just doesn't make sense to me! Does anybody understand what I'm getting at? |

| Electric President – Snow on Dead Neighborhoods Lyrics | 19 years ago |
this song is great. the first part about the wires makes me think about common machines/objects that we use everyday that operate on electricity, and the guy singing the song just wants us to disconnect from all that for a second, and connect to a real, live human being. also, the bit about the "houses hugging the road, but no one's home": it sounds like he's describing what happens to a lot of people, they fall into a routine and then begin to harbor feelings of apathy i just realized, although i do like this song, i kind of feel like i'm beginning to slip into that category. thank you, electric president, for elevating me to a new higher level of consciousness. i am ALIVE again! |

| The Little Ones – Heavy Hearts Brigade Lyrics | 19 years ago |
i like this song a lot! something about the melody is so pleasing, but i pretty much like all of their songs! i first heard them on myspace, and then they were reviewed in this year's september issue of SPIN magazine, so, they are gaining popularity! which is great because they are awesome. go the little ones! ...i believe this song to be about living life in general. the last verse especially does it for me! |
| Days Away – Stay The Same Lyrics | 19 years ago |
man, these lyrics are the ones i first heard, but i just listened to another version where it's like "no i can't find a way, to just try and, just try and explain myself" the other version was different at other parts too, but i think i like this version better for some reason. |

| Ben Lee – End Of The World Lyrics | 19 years ago |
i liked this song from the moment i first listened to it... [i actually laughed to myself after the two lines: "And then we'll chain smoke cigarettes It doesn't matter 'cos we're all gonna die"] it's pretty self-explanatory. |
