I believe the lines "Let me hear you Make decisions Without your television" suggest a relationship with someone on the media, and the following lines: "Let me hear you speaking Just for me" make it even more clear. IMO, Martin's singing to a love affair who could be a news reporter, or a talk show host, or someone similar. |
