In concert Amy said this song (The Road To Home, not Caledonia) was written after her dog died. She also said she was surprised when it was chosen for Glasgow's Commonwealth Games bid, and didn't tell them it was about a dead dog. |

NSiky - it is 'design for life'. Wonderwall and Devil's Haircut, as I'm sure you know, are two songs (by oasis and beck respectively) and design for life is a manic street preachers song, so it fits very well. |

On the england/uk debate: How many of us Brits could say what the difference between Holland and the Netherlands, for example, is? We're as ignorant as anybody.
On the song:I heard the lyrics 'You and your friends in boxes of ten' and I thought 'how stupid'. I read all of the lyrics and thought 'how clever'. Well done the Feeling. |

| Dave Matthews Band – Sleep to Dream Her Lyrics

There are a million songs about unrequited love, but once again Dave has found a way to say what we've all felt in a way that's never been said before. The song is, of course, about not even being noticed by a girl, about not even being on their radar. Dave's also wishing that his affection wasn't there - that he could forget about the girl, and hence be free of the torment of love. |

There was an area of London known as Babylon in the Victorian era which could probably be compared to modern day Soho, in terms of the type of entertainment and businesses available. I think that's the Babylon David refers to in the title. From there, I agree with quiffporn that all the parties and bars are just seedy without someone there to enjoy them with. |
