Neonblonde I wish more people spouting their opinions as the songs meaning on this site actually knew what they were talking about like you clearly do.
NOFX songs are not meant to be taken as gospel, they have songs such as "ska sucks" yet they clearly don't think that because they play ska songs all the time. They make fun of anything, good on them. |

but to be serious about anarchy:
"Anarchy" arises from ancient Greek "An," meaning without and "Archos" meaning leader. does this mean no government? not really, democracy could be called a little anarchic using this definition, as our 'leaders' are still (supposedly) elected by us so are meant to serve us, of course everythings corrupt. so maybe if I go draw anarchy symbols on street signs I'm saying I want democracies "leaders" to start doing what they're supposed to do: serve the people |

what philtheman said seems to make waay more sense especially if you consider the official interview about it, if it's meant to inspire confidence saying something along the lines of "you don't need her" probably helps you out if its issues with the girls youre worried about |

politics is about more than a government, it's in the lyrics themselves, anyone with power over you.. sucking up to your boss to get a promotion.. politics..
"You want to sleep with him to get to who you need to know" ... so maybe sucking up wasn't a bad phrase to use there
or I'm thinking its more a rant about that sorta play then the "oh i don't give a shit about elections".. but probably that too |
