myband is covering this song, and it is very hard. I'm the drummer, and I deffinately can't play like this guy. Deffinately about a bank robbery.

Primus – Mr. Knowitall Lyrics 20 years ago
It's about being a wicked huge smart showoff thinking you are the coolest person ever then slipping out with something stupid, in my point of view

Primus – Frizzle Fry Lyrics 20 years ago
TheHeckler is right about this, but why frizzlefry?
I don't get the name at all, It's not like he's burning!

Primus – To Defy The Laws Of Tradition Lyrics 20 years ago
in the last verse, does the taxman part refer to the mr. Jones part? that confuses me alot. I love this song so much, one of my favorite primus songs. I just got frizzle fry the other day and I automatically liked it.

Primus – Too Many Puppies Lyrics 20 years ago
obviously about war, just overall war, not one certain one. It also refers to the people who make them go into war that have all the power and don't care what happens to the people. Good one, JAStewart

Primus – Fisticuffs Lyrics 20 years ago
it's the same bass line as barrington hall, from fearless flying frog brigade.

Les Claypool's Fearless Flying Frog Brigade – Barrington hall Lyrics 20 years ago

Primus – Jerry Was a Race Car Driver Lyrics 20 years ago
deffinately about taking life too fast and messing up in the end.that retirement thing probably shows a hard worker, takes life at a good pase, something like that. correct me if I'm wrong, but I think les is amongst the top 5 bassists with victor wooten, jaco pastorius, stanley clarke, marcus miller, and possibly ray brown. but I agree with Awhislyle.

Les Claypool's Fearless Flying Frog Brigade – Buzzards of Green Hill Lyrics 20 years ago
this is obviously about drunk driving, think about it. but the fuzzy wuzzy part, i don't understand. The kitty-cat thing is about some kid scaring a cat with a t-ball bat, and it sat on the road and got hit. Johnny gets arrested, but posts a bill, and he gets let out, but everyone is mad. that's all i know. can anyone clue me in on the fuzzy wuzzy part?

Led Zeppelin – Poor Tom Lyrics 20 years ago
good call, BrokenShadow. why is it always annie?
yeah, the drum part for this is pretty cool, but really repetitive. I like the railroad feel. obvious meaning, but great song. I like the first comment, the seventh son thing, that's a good catch.

Led Zeppelin – Four Sticks Lyrics 20 years ago
every song on the album is good in its own way. I thnk this song is in a really cool time signature, like the crunge. but anyway, yeah the drumming in this song rocks. I used to think there was a razor going during the instrumental verse part, has anyone else heard that?

Led Zeppelin – Royal Orleans Lyrics 20 years ago

Les Claypool's Fearless Flying Frog Brigade – David Makalaster Lyrics 20 years ago
Completely agree, GreenAndy. but one thing, I think there actually was a guy named david Makalaster. anybody know the story behind that?
Life like this would be really boring, but whatever.

Catch 22 – Chasing The Moon Lyrics 20 years ago
either way, regression sucks. especially the begginig. so does chasing the moon, the only song I like on this album is lamont's lament, the last one.

Catch 22 – Motown Cinderella Lyrics 20 years ago
I hate the new catch 22. It sounds all emois. but now, I got streetlight manifesto to listen to, so it's all good. THIS ALBUM SUCKS!

Catch 22 – Dear Sergio Lyrics 20 years ago
sergio is an old word for sergeant, and I guess it could make sense because of the "It's gettin' kinda hot in here", because of the ovens nazis used for WW2, but I don't know how that ties in with the verses. except for the part in the second verse, where it says "they shoot down everyone you know and then they leave you there all alone", that has a connection too. Possibly about concentration camps?
