Luce – Good Day Lyrics 19 years ago
I like this song. Upbeat - happy - nothing big or over the top has to happen, somebody makes the coffee, somebody waiting for you, sleeping in the shade - a pretty good day.

Stereophonics – Just Lookin' Lyrics 19 years ago
I don't think there is anyone who can't relate to the first few lines. Amazing song. I'm just looking cause that American dream is hard to realize - paying back student loans, there's no money for anything else.

Stereophonics – Handbags And Gladrags Lyrics 19 years ago
This song is how I found the Stereophonics - I knew the Rod Stewart version. The lead singer sounds a little like Rod Stewart but I knew it wasn't him. I love the Stereophonics. Glad I found them. They remind me of 70's rock and roll.

Stereophonics – A Minute Longer Lyrics 19 years ago
I love this song. More than the lyrics alone - I love the feeling I get when I listen to it. There have definitely been moments in my life when I wanted to stay a minute longer . . .

Iron & Wine – Waiting for a Superman (Flaming Lips cover) Lyrics 19 years ago
I can't believe no one else has commented on this song. This is my latest favorite song. I can't stop listening to it.

I have to hear it many times in a row. Of course, I thought my life was as heavy as could be and yet it's been getting heavier.

I am waiting for superman . . . I'm holding on best I can.

Iron & Wine – Love and Some Verses Lyrics 19 years ago
Hmmm. To me, this is about how much you reveal yourself to someone - how much they choose to reveal themselves to you. "may I be weaved in your hair" - can we join together?

Iron & Wine – Upward Over the Mountain Lyrics 19 years ago
This is true poetry - while it certainly evokes strong feelings, it is vague enough that we can project our own experiences or ideas on to it. It was interesting to read how differently people experience this song. I'm one of the ones who thinks it is sad. Accepting of the hard lessons of life.

Iron & Wine – Waiting for a Superman (Flaming Lips cover) Lyrics 19 years ago
Wow - this song blows me away. It's melancholy - taps into that feeling most people have at some point of wanting to be rescued - "waiting for Superman" - life does get heavy. He leaves us a little hope - we're not forgotten, but some things are even too heavy for Superman.

Sad but sweet.
