I dont believe this song is just about andy kaufman. I believe its about questioning the things we told are right. There is the controversy of whether or not louis armstrong really landed on the moon or was it staged. It also refers to moses and newton. We are told the story of both but there is never really evidence that these events really did take place. Andy Kaufman was just another way to look at it. No one ever really knew what he was about. they didnt know whether he was joking or serious when it came to his performances. DId he make up tony clifton or not.. |
