I am in love with Angels and Airwaves aha. I sort of agree with Chris_nfg. I think every band has a stage where all they sing about is getting girls, how their parents grounded them, or how sucky school is. And if you notice, it's always been the bands first beginning years. Then they start writing more powerful,meaningful stuff as the band experiences new things. If a band's sound doesnt change- it means they arent learning, arent growing. No one wants to listen to the same stuff over and over. I think if you are a 36 yr old man and are still listening to Good Charlotte bitch about not having friends, you need to get over it. Blink is a great band. They have grown. And I love all members side projects as much as I loved them together. |

=D I love this song. I think this song kind of sounds like a guy who likes a girl but the girl is his best friend. and he is always her crutch when she needs help. the part about him being the referee I think refers to him as playing the "game of love" ..but he isnt playing he is just judging her boyfriends. the chorus part with the surrender... I think that means that when he became friends with the girl he surrenders his judgement because he doesnt want to say something bad about her boyfriend and make her angry? And that he cant tell her how he feels because he doesnt want to ruin the friendship. I could be completely wrong =) either way.. |

Yes. I do agree. Cheese is more punk than Avril. && I am not a fan of hers either.. HOWEVER. Why are you wasting your time on critizing other peoples music tastes? You shouldn't care. You aren't listening to it. If it makes them happy whatever. I'm sure that if someone attacked you for the music you listened to you would probably freak out. Music is self expression, everyone has the right to listen to music. Music can save lives. Don't try to take that away from people && make them feel guilty for the music they like. No, I don't care for Avril, but I'm not exactly going to tell the 13 year old girl who thinks that she is punk to listen to something that she probably would have no interest in. You could be a bit more mature about disliking an artist. |
