i think this song has a different meaning for me that most of the other people on here. to me it always seemed like the singer wasn't involved with the girl in any sort of romantic or sexual way, but he wants/wanted to be. but this girl met someone and this other person has come inbetween them ruining their friendship. the singer seems to sort of mock her when he talks to her and it might have caused her some stress. this girl was a pretty innocent girl before she met this other guy, but with him she did sexual things she had never done before, and her innocence was gone. it general, this other boy took away her sweetness, all the things the singer admired her for.

this is the only song that's ever made me cry. I had a very close female friend, who still has the most amazing blue eyes I've ever seen. i cared about her so much, but my story doesn't have a happy ending like parssta. oh well, life goes on. this song is beautiful. |

uhh, did you pay attention to any of RENT??? ugh, this is probably the best known song from it, I heard a few times before I knew what RENT was. it isn't my favorite song fromt it, but it is still very nice and meaningfull. |

there really isn't any hidden meaning here. i'm sure that everyone can relate to this. having someone you were very close to, relative, friend, lover, and then for whatever reason you grow apart, and you are like strangers to each other. it really is a wonderful song. |
