I never saw this about being about the end of a relationship.
I thought of it as coming to terms with loving someone. Learning to love them completely and give them everything, without forgetting about taking care of yourself. Loving someone makes you vulnerable and so many people let themselves suffer in love. But I think she's trying to not suffer any longer, to love "without aching".
And the reason it's the 'last honest love' is that, if this relationship doesn't work out, she won't be able to take the risk again with somebody else. |
