ou god...i have only red 1/4 of the comments and i'm already pissed! first of all people like musiclover4eva shouldn't post comments at all if their only motive is to tell others that hey, this is my first comment...i mean...juhuuu, yey, but who cares? secondly ho-ju, you are wrong...music has mattered a lot in different areas...we Estonians basically singed our nation free from under the russian occupation (sorry for the bad grammar)...it was called singing revolution if i'm not mistakeing! and through history there have been many political singers/groups in different countries useing music to bring people together not to get rich and famous...so don't ever say that music has never really mattered!!!!it's not true! and i think it's not unfare to say that people back at 77 and 69 cared more about what was going on......people have grown a part from eachother and that's why they don't care anymore! they don't eaven notice you, they have their own problems like from where are they going to get the money to buy that bigger screened TV or smth like that! "we didn't know everything"- someone commented this line saying that it was riddiculous and pseudo-philosophical statement...but like venushalley said, if you look closer, the more people know the more they complicate their life (in an unnecessary way)! and the line "footballers still had long hair." (it goes on too you know like this...)...and dirt across their face! this isn't about the legth of footballers hair, it's about the spirit they had back then! and the line "when head of state didn't play guitar" doesn't mean that the head of states nowdays play guitar...i think it's more about how they are buying their way in to people hearts...i know the politicians back then did that too but right now it's all that they ever do! ok and the song...you are over complicateing it! it's just a sencire feeling goming from in side...caused by the ignorance and materialism surrounding us! i have thought the same thoughts a million times and it's good that someone decided to make a song out of these thoughts! and i red someone wrote that the song has boring tunes...amn, like i said before, this just shows again how over complicated we have made everything to ourselves(shitty sentence;P), and putting punk rockers and hippies under a = ... well they did have something incommon you know...like revolution in their hearts! you are too much concentrating on what separeted them from each other and not paying attention on what they had in common!!! tired....veery tired...zZzzzz... |
