@misinterpretation Man fucking spot on interpretation! I knew it was about lovers growing old together; where one was having trouble letting go of their wild youthful days but you put the symbolism in perfect light! |

Wow, Tinydancer take that shit back to the pulpit this aint sunday school. "We've both been very brave Walk around with both legs Wait for the scary day We both pull the tricks out of our sleeves" "I'd take you where nobody knows you And nobody gives a damn Said nobody knows you And nobody gives a damn" Try to apply these lines to your "Jesus" theory and it falls apart like so much wet toliet paper. So hes taking Jesus somewhere where no on gives damn? Sound like a fun religion. This song is definitely about a loved one in a bad situation, not sure if its drugs or if shes in some other bad situation. But one thing I AM sure of, and thats that it isnt about Jesus! |

Some of you guys way over think things. This is a simple political song about world leaders, i.e., Bush using brute force to try and solve the world's problems as opposed to seeking diplomatic solutions. "I can't believe in the guns I can't believe in the view" "I can't believe in those hunters and kings" Here he's saying he can’t believe in the US's and UK's policy of violence in (most likely) the Middle East. And "Pulls out two guns and shoots at the pretty, pretty pure white" is incorrect. He says "Pulls out two guns and shoots at the pretty, pretty view... I, Gotta keep thinking, things, hunters and kings." "Its pretty view...I" that sound like pretty pretty pure white, but its not. |
