Kelly Clarkson – Behind These Hazel Eyes Lyrics 19 years ago
I love Kelly Clarkson. I can really relate to a lot of her songs. I listened to this song over and over again after my bf broke up with me. We were so happy when we were together, but then all of a sudden, he broke up with me. It really tore me up inside. He was my first bf and my first love, so it was extremely painful. You can really hair the pain in Kelly's voice when she sings this. I pretended to be okay on the outside. No one ever saw me cry after the break up. Everyone said that I was handling it pretty well. But when I was alone in my room about to go to sleep, that was the only time I'd let myself cry....

Kelly Clarkson – Low Lyrics 19 years ago
I think this is a song about a break up and the guy did something really bad to her. Everyone knew what the guy was doing and the girl was the last to find out. Now she knows, and she knows that everyone else knew and that they all feel sorry for her. It's a really sucky feeling. I really like the line, "Except I never thought it'd hurt this much to be saved." I can really relate to this song. I had an ex who got with another chick right after we broke up. I didn't know about her until later, but everyone else did. It was horrible. I knew that everyone felt bad for me. This information made me realize what kind of person my ex really was, but it hurt a lot. I thought we could be friends, but he messed it up and now it can never happen. To me, what he did was low, and it made me feel low....

Kelly Clarkson – Just Missed The Train Lyrics 19 years ago
I think it's cool how there can be so many different interpretations for this song. I just listened to Kelly Clarkson's first album last month, and I can't stop listening to this song. I play it over and over again.

To me, this song is about a couple who tried working out their relationship, but failed. Instead of being sad and depressed or angry and bitter, the person in the song is more nonchalant about the break up. It's like, yes, we tried, but it didn't work. It's such a shame, but oh well, life will go on. I guess you can say the song is bittersweet.

I love the metaphor of "missing the train." I think it means that they almost reached a point where their relationship would work, but they were "stuck at a light" which may be some kind of problem they never dealt or compromised with, causing them to miss the train.

I listen to this song everyday because I want the same attitude as the person in this song toward my own breakup. I want to not care about the situation, be more like, "I'm sorry it didn't work out, but oh well."

A lot of the song applies to my own past relationship. The lyrics "Do you remember wasting all the time/We were feeling fine/Though we coudln't walk a line/We were all right" can be about how the couple was happy together, but they had problems underneath it all that they just ignored for a while, until the time came to break up.

I think I'm writing too much. I really love this song! I think it should've been a single. :P
