Jet – Shine On Lyrics 19 years ago
On the topic of Nic's dad dying, this happend when they were on tour in 2004 not when Nic was 3.

As mentioned by badda, this song was written by Nic about his father to help his family cope with his death and to remind them what John would say to help them get on with life.

My mum had a shop next to thier dad John's shop in Prahran market in the 80's. He was a great bloke and very highly respected. I think this song is an awesome tribute to John and people will love listening to it for years to come.

Radiohead – Where I End and You Begin. (The Sky Is Falling In.) Lyrics 19 years ago
Woah! sortilegus that is a friggin' good effort and I think one of the best meanings given so far.

On the line "the sky turns green" I initialy thought it could be about jealousy if this song was about relationships. But going on the from Gods perspective, it could be that the our earth (green grass) is like gods sky when he looks at us...

But my initial thought is that it is about a bad relationship. Dunno. Great song tho.

Radiohead – Knives Out Lyrics 19 years ago
I would have to agree with what El Tea said about the disagreement Radiohead had with the dude who shot the video saying that he put his own issues into it rather than relating it to the song.

I love this song and played it heaps before I saw the video. To me the video does not match the songs cruzy and haunting melody. The video is frantic and twitchy which I think is a bad match to the song. Good examples of matches would be Street Spirit, Pyramid Song and their videos.

Definitely about Cannibalism.

Radiohead... Amazing... Totally Addicted!!

Ben Lee – Catch My Disease Lyrics 19 years ago
I am with you garbgerox, this song is his standard cheap ass riff crap and Ben Lee is a disease. He sucks more ass than a gay bar at mardi gras. Don't play this little ferret on the radio Cos that's the way I like it!

Pink Floyd – Lost for Words Lyrics 19 years ago
Reptile, you said it dude! There are no bad Floyd albums. I suppose you could also say there is an upside to the split... Without it we would have missed out on gems like Pros & Cons & Amused to Death by Waters. TDB is an awesome Floyd album, and the lyrics burn you to find out the real story & meaning behind them.
