All I have to say is what the song made me think of. It reminded me of how my granpa talked the first few days after he had a stroke that effected the speech portion of his brain. He pulled words from things he had done in the past and made nonsense sentences. Thing is he knew what he was saying, only it made no sense to us. He knew we were pretending to understand him too. So all this mumbo jumbo followed with the "you believe me" part reminds me of that. |

OK what I thought was close to the cheating. But he is sleeping with someone who is already taken. like everyones fav verse why don't you show me a little bit of spine youve been saving for his mattress i only want sympathy in the form of you crawling into bed with me SHes chickening out on telling her man about him He doesnt want her to say "Yeah I know its hard"(sympathy) he wants her to stay and not go back to the other guy... I have no clue again but its just my take. |

here I go again, you know how some people have themes to their Cds? Sounds like someone speaking here that has done something against someone they love and is ashamed and wants it to go away."cast it out" Possibly told the person and broke their heart "your eyes bleed dry" . There's a "definite pattern to our behavior" "Somehow the end draws us closer" Kinda makes me think of people who fight to make up. Maybe there is an infidelity problem from both sides and confession makes their relation strong for a time being. Again I didnt write the song so I dont know and am not saying I am right. I am just saying what I think of when I hear it |

"remorse for amnesia" I always though he was saying "remorsefull Amnesia" which I took to mean something you felt so bad about you chose to forget it even happend. Again sounds like temptation, having trouble resisting something you know you shouldnt do. |

Half Life if a math term used to calculate the decay of say a drug in your system. It will have a specific half life of so many hours and will eventually disapear after its broken down with each half time. (becomes less and less when each half life time is reached) I suck at describing math without using formulas. Anyways if you look at it from the title stand point. Hes involved withs omething, maybe a girl, maybe temptation (Its sounds to me alot of the songs are about sexual temptation) But anyways, as long as this is going on he is becoming less and less of what he was before, its eating him up, eventually there will be no more of what was making him feel good, or will be changed forever. So I have no idea what this song is about an example of a half life easy problem is you are giev 250mg of morphine which has a half life of 6 hours. How much will be left in your system after 24 hrs. |
