| Arcade Fire – Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
To me i read that this song is about the death of generations of a family, leaving only the central characters. I think the snow is a metaphor for death, which the characters first experience with their parents (dead granparents maybe??) and come to find comfort in each other (digging tunnels). Then I read that their parents also die so it becomes about transcending from being parented to being a parent Ok so i didnt explain that real well... |

| The Decemberists – Here I Dreamt I Was an Architect Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I can see a spain vibe all the way through this song, with the carnival, the architecture pretty much describes gaudi, and then the obvious salute to spain. | |
