Sure, this song by TFoT is the definition of experimental. Sure, it paces the CD which gives the sense of the control TFoT has over their work. But just because all of that is true and you like the song, doesn't mean everyone else has to as well. Maybe the person "bitching" about this song was expecting more screaming than anything else he has ever bought (or downloaded...), and was upset when he heard this song. To be honest, I don't like the song as a whole, but what it does for the album actually saves it for me. Manipulator is still nowhere near my favorite TFoT album though. |
