I can definetly see how this song is refering to Jesus.
but I can also see how it isn't.
I mean, saying dance with me doesn't necessarily mean anything disrespectul. When dancing, someone usually leads.. so it could be like lead me.. like the saying life is a dance. I don't know.

I agree with that it is like the Great Gatsby, but at the same time.. the first time I heard this, I was reading Great Gatsby for English. Like I mean literally, the same like hour.. soo it just was like' hm wow' .. but I mean, I don't know. I think it is about Gatsby & Daisy, if anyone..because at the end when Gatsby is telling Tom that Daisy wants to leave Tom, Daisy sort of decides she'd rather stay with Tom.. so I think that's "I kind of get the feeling like I'm being used". Also, I think the "Convinced you've found your place

But it sours into a routine deceit" could sort of go with how Gatsby thinks Daisy has changed since he saw her 5 years before. I agree with everything yourworstenemy58 said. But anyways, I really like this song and the music video. But I believe that songs can have multiple meanings, it's more of the person who is listening to it. Of couse the song writer has a meaning for it that they had in mind when they wrote it.. |
